Acoustic 412GS (469) 200W cabinet je osazen 4x12" Eminence 50W USA reproduktory. Opět jde o vintage kousek poměrně velmi těžko k sehnání, ale trpělivost se mi zase jednou vyplatila:o) a tentokrát přímo v Berlíně jsem zakoupil tento cabinet z rukou druhého majitele. Design provedení je tradiční serie Brown tolex. Zajímavostí je konstrukční řešení pro vstupu do cabinetu, kdy po odejmutí předních dvou rámů s grill-cloth je přímý přístup k reproduktorům. Rámy s ochraným grilem jsou přichyceny ke cabinetu jakýmsi plastovým suchým zipem. Vstup do cabinetu je pouze z předu až po vyjmutí reproduktorů. Celkem originální a navíc velmi bytelné konstrukční provedení 4x12"cabinetu. Podrobnější objektivní recenzi zvuku cabinetu Acoustic 412GS napíšu co nejdříve. Je to můj nejčerstvější přírůstek zatím jsem němel dostatek klidu a času na větší testování a charakteristiku. Prozradím jen, že první krátké zapojení a test cabinetu s hlavou Acoustic 160 mě velmi mile překvapilo. Cabinet má plný satt sound a je perfektním doplněním, nejen mé sbírečky, ale také velmi zajímavou alternativou k soundu mých oblíbených EVM12L OEM jak na pódium tak do studia.
....as usualy a bit of English........The Acoustic Control Corporation was an amp/pro-audio manufacturer (they also made one guitar model and one bass model in the 70´s) from Van Nuys, California. The company was founded in the late 60´s and closed in the mid 80´s. If you know anything about this amp company you know that these were some of the best solid amps made in the 80's. This is an early 80's 4x12 cabinet slightly smaller than normal half stack. It has 200 watts from four style square magnets Eminence USA.
This can be used for guitar or bass as a well. It is slightly smaller than typical average 4x12. It runs at 8 ohms mono.
It looks cool with brown marbled tolex and a wheat colored grill. It has held up well. It has removable casters for a transport, those are original. The cab works great. The speakers sound amazing for both cleans and distortion, and they break up nicely.
It is built solidly with some really nice plywood and has a large amount of internal bracing. Each speaker is almost seperated into its own little cabinet on the inside.
Not much can go wrong with a cabinet so there isn't anything to worry about. All my other Acoustic stuff has held up great as well. So you can't really get any better than that. I love all the acoustic gear. It sounds amazing but hard to find.
